Part of my felted wool/cashmere coat collection. Before you get too excited, please check the measurements below. I really don't want to sell a coat that doesn't fit! Here are the very rough measurements, and I take a lot of these to try to help.

Shoulder to shoulder: ~20 INCHES

Underarm to underarm: ~53 INCHES

Hood length: ~54 INCHES

Sleeve length: ~ 24 INCHES

Neck to hem: ~49 INCHES

Waist when fastened: ~48 INCHES

Upper arm circumference: ~ 16 INCHES
Closure: zipper

Material: Almost exclusively fine felted cashmere, mixed with fleece. SUPER, super soft.

These coats are very tricky to measure and are not made to be exact, so err on the side of caution. You can wear a roomier coat and actually be better off, but you do not want one that's too small. Do not rely on stretch alone to get the fit you need (knits always do stretch a little). Remember that as this is a coat, it is meant to have some room and is more comfortable that way. If you have a 44" bust, a 44" inch coat gives you NO leeway - bigger is usually better.

This, so far, is one of the better coats I've made yet and is more durable and more well made than my earlier works. It also took a lot more time, which is why the price is what is is. This was at least a week's worth of work, not factoring in the cost of materials (which alone are at least~$60.00).

This is about ~ 4-5 pounds of coat here and will be sent via Priority Mail with a tracking number. I'll cover the extra insurance cost. I know shipping costs aren't fun but the postal folks need to be paid for their efforts too, so it is what it is. I do check postage costs against what you get charged for and if I goofed horribly, I refund you the difference. Pinky swear, I do not earn a profit on shipping.

We are in a pandemic, so for health reasons my studio is closed to visitors until a vaccine is available to us. Once we are all able to get vaccinated, my regular practice applies, which is this:

If you live within driving distance of Colorado zip code 80905, you can arrange to both try this on, as well as save on shipping by picking this up in person from my studio. This is done by appointment however - please don't just show up at my door, I'm an introvert and I'll have a heart attack. But I am available most days/evenings/weekends by appointment (and I have off-street parking... yay!). If you buy online, I will refund you the shipping charge upon pickup. Or, you can buy in person at my studio (I have a credit card machine) but you run the risk of someone else buying it out from under you on your way here - I would of course let you know right away if that does happen. I don't really want to promise "hold" things if at all possible, it's way too much administrative work. I do take Paypal Credit in addition to credit cards to offer some flexibility.

These are all about a week's worth of work for me, so they are not cheap. It's a big decision. If you're not sure, email me and ask any question (other than price - I think the rationale for that has been made clear): persephone@persephonelove.com

And if this one isn't quite what you're looking for, don't stress! I have a neat online poll where you can vote on what I should make next. That's over here:
