Tan bronze embroidered upcycled denim steampunk hippie festival rhinestone bracelet-1184
Tan bronze embroidered upcycled denim steampunk hippie festival rhinestone bracelet-1184
Length: about 6.5 inches - small! ;Width: about 1.5 inches
Closure: two bronze snap closures
This lovely tan and bronze steampunk-looking bracelet is made from the waistband of denim jeans. Antique gold embroidery graces the outer edge and a lovely alternating leaf design is embroidered throughout, which is then embellished with bronze alloy beads that have a delicate etched floral design. A sparkling rhinestone centerpiece completes the look. I can't decide if this is steampunk, or Celtic, or Victorian - a very versatile style! It looks far better in person than in the photos. The bracelet fastens with two snaps which are reinforced with extra stitching, making it durable as well as lovely. The metallic thread is stitched by machine, using a special needle and technique. The embellishments are sewn with invisible thread (which is a pain!) but produces a far better-looking item. It is truly a labor of love. From cutting up the denim, to embroidery, to hand sewing, to photograph and listing, each bracelet takes about two hours to make. These are NOT adjustable - need a different size? Check my other items as I try to vary the sizes and designs, so each bracelet is slightly different.
