TWO Brown gold metallic embroidered upcycled leaf motif denim cuff bracelets

Who ever knew old denim could look this good? This is a set of TWO upcycled hand-made bracelets made from reclaimed brown denim waistband material which I scour local thrift shops to find. It's been painstakingly embroidered with a gold border all around the edge of the bracelet using a special needle and lots of care. Gold and bronze leaf sequins were then painstakingly attached using invisible thread (which is a real pain, but produces much better looking items!). The invisible thread is also stronger than cotton/poly thread as well, for durability. It fastens easily with two bronze snaps. The sequins are only two colors, gold and bronze, but they shimmer in the light in a way that makes it appear that there are more colors. The photographs don't do these justice. These take about an hour and a half (each) to make, when done right. I don't frequently make my bracelets in pairs but occasionally my inner Feng Shui desire for some semblance of symmetry takes over and here we are.

Lightweight, durable, comfortable and unique. A win all around! These are awesome either for your fall wardrobe, or your Halloween costume. I'm thinking.... Gladiator?
