Brown copper metallic embroidered steampunk gear upcycled denim bracelet-1152
Brown copper metallic embroidered steampunk gear upcycled denim bracelet-1152
Length: Approximately 8 inches Width: Approximately 1.5 inches
Who ever knew old denim could look this good? This is an upcycled hand-made bracelet made from reclaimed brown denim waistband material which I scour local thrift shops to find. It's been painstakingly embroidered in copper metallic embroidery, all around the edge of the bracelet, as well as all throughout, using a special needle and lots of care. Copper steampunk-type gears were then painstakingly attached using invisible thread (which is a real pain, but produces much better looking items!). The invisible thread is also stronger than cotton/poly thread as well, for durability. It fastens easily with two silver snaps. These take about two hours to make, when done right. This will fit a small-wristed man (thank you to my husband for his modeling services and please pardon his arm hairs!) and easily fits a lady as well, worn slightly higher up on the wrist (or fits loosely near the heel of the hand). If this is a gift, DO sneak a measurement while your intended target is asleep. I have just a handful of these but they are ALL different - so see them all! Lightweight, durable, comfortable and unique. A win all around!
